Live Test Task/Assignment Feature - Platform Web

Summary

Extend Live Tests into a Live Assessments & Tasks surface by adding a new assessment type: Task / Assignment. Learners submit file/link deliverables inside a submission window; teachers review, score, and publish feedback.

Background

Today Live Tests support Quiz, Coding test, and AI Interview. The prototype adds Tasks as a fourth type under the same Content → Live Tests (renamed / grouped as Live Assessments & Tasks) ecosystem, with dedicated admin grading and learner submit/result flows.

Goals

• Teachers can create a Task with title, instructions, start/end window, allowed upload formats, max score, and max file size.
• Learners can submit deliverables (file + optional project/demo URL + notes) within the window.
• Teachers can review pending submissions, grade with score + feedback, and publish results.
• Learners can see In Review vs Graded states and view published grades/comments.
• Admin + learner calendars surface task/test start and due dates.

• Existing Quiz / Coding / AI Interview creation paths remain available via the “Select Test Type” step.

Out of scope (for this epic unless pulled in)

• Automated grading of task files
• Full coding/AI interview behavior changes (reuse existing flows)

• Hardening of the demo’s mock persistence (prototype is UI/UX reference only)

Proposed UX (from prototype)

Admin / Teacher

1. Live Assessments & Tasks list — index of quizzes, coding, AI interviews, and tasks; search + type filter (All / Tasks / Quiz / Coding / AI Interview).
2. Create flow — Select type → if Task, open Create Task modal (name, description, start/end date-time, allowed formats, max score, max size) → Publish.
3. Task Submissions & Grading — pending-review badge; filter by status; open Grade modal (file + link + student notes → score + feedback) → Publish grade.
4. Calendar — schedule view for test launches and task deadlines.

Student / Learner

1. Scheduled — active live assessments/tasks; Task CTA = Submit Task / In Review / View Grade.
2. Submit Task — instructions, permitted formats, file upload (drag/drop), optional project link, notes.
3. Finished / Graded — score, %, teacher comments, submitted file summary.
4. Expired — past unsubmitted / closed assessments.
5. Learner calendar — tests + task due dates.
